Data privacy: exports, erasure & records of processing

flyhelpdesk gives you the tools to meet data-subject requests and document your processing.

Export a contact’s data (right of access)

1. Open the contact from Admin → Customers (or the ticket).
2. Choose Export data — you get a machine-readable file of everything held about that person: profile, tickets, messages and metadata.

Erase a contact (right to be forgotten)

Choose Erase to remove or irreversibly anonymise the contact and their conversations. The action itself is written to the audit log (who and when) so you can prove the erasure happened without keeping the data.

Records & notices

• RoPA — the published Records of Processing Activities describe what you process and why; keep it current under Compliance.
• Cookie consent — the portal shows a consent notice and links your cookie policy, so visitors choose before non-essential cookies are set.
