Monitor health with Observability

Admin → Observability gives you an at-a-glance view of whether the platform is healthy and how busy it is.

Live checks across the services your helpdesk depends on

What it shows

  • Overall status — Operational, Degraded or Down, from the worst individual check.
  • Service checks — database, cache, background jobs, mail transport, storage and the application runtime, each with a message and detail.
  • Operational metrics — open tickets, new/resolved in the last 24h, SLA breaches, team size and audit volume.
  • Recent activity — the latest audit events.

Wire up an uptime monitor

The same data is available as JSON at /api/health. It returns HTTP 200 when healthy and 503 when any check fails — point your uptime monitor (or load balancer) at it.

Tips

  • A Degraded mail check usually means outbound email isn't fully configured yet — set up SMTP in Channels.
  • Check the page after any big configuration change to confirm everything still reads green.
